Maad develops exceptional properties to serve visitors of Makkah and Madina in line with the vision of His Majesty King Salman bin AbdelAziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under His Majesty’ patronage, has made significant infrastructure and service investments such as the Haramain High Speed Railway and Mashaer trains, as well as the new King Abdulaziz Airport. This in addition to the substantial funds allocated to facilities such as cleanliness, security, and medical assistance.
The prestigious Dallah al Barakah and Wadi el Khalil groups joined forces to create Maad International, a developer charged with building international-standard hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia. Maad’s senior management includes professionals with decades of experience in architecture, construction, real estate, hospitality and asset management. With offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Makkah, the team is focused on creating a center of excellence in hospitality development and asset management. The firm is currently focused on the Maad Hospitality Towers, a 21 building mega-project covering 48,260 m2 just 1.3 kilometers from the Haram and 800 meters from its southern expansion.
Maad views vendors as partners. The firm seeks out reputable companies with proven skills and achievements to bid for all aspects of the company’s projects, whether valuation, financing, legal advice, professional consultations, contracting or building materials. For example, in assessing the viability and value of projects, Maad has worked with KPMG, JLL, Colliers, ValueStrat, and Century21; and NCB has provided both financing and financial services. In terms of project and interior design, initial concepts where developed by SOM (Skidmore, Owings and Merrill) as well as Architectonica; and subsequent technical designs have been completed by Zuhair Fayez and AMSAD. Materials and contracting are provided by established firms such as KONE, Juffali, Unipods, alFanar, Hanmi, and Mobco among others.
